Is window tinting legal in Georgia?
Window tinting is legal in Georgia, but there are restrictions on how dark your tint can be depending on the window. Georgia law requires a minimum of 32% VLT on front side windows. Rear side windows and the rear windshield can be any darkness. Every installation at D&I is done in compliance with Georgia's tint laws.
How long does window tint take to install?
Most installations are completed within a few hours, depending on the number of windows and the vehicle type. A time estimate will be provided when you book your appointment.
How long do I need to wait before rolling my windows down?
We recommend waiting at least 3–5 days after installation before rolling your windows down to allow the film to fully cure and adhere to the glass.
Will window tinting interfere with my GPS or phone signal?
Both Tintx Carbon and LLumar Ceramic films are non-metallic, which means they will not interfere with GPS, Bluetooth, cellular signal, or any other electronic devices.
Can old tint be removed before new film is installed?
If your vehicle has existing tint that is peeling, bubbling, or simply needs to be replaced, professional tint removal is available starting at $50–$120 before your new film is installed.
